What services does Slim Maintenance offer?

At Slim Maintenance we offer a wide range of property maintenance services to both commercial and domestic customers. These include the following:

  • Cleaning
  • Electrical work, including light checks, electrical checks and PAT testing
  • Decorative work including painting and decorating, and car park bay marking
  • Gas work, including boiler checks
  • Plumbing
  • Sound proofing
  • Roofing
  • Security checks
  • Modification to or removal of kerbs, signs, trees and so on
  • All other aspects of general property maintenance.
Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Crawley, West Sussex, and generally cover all areas within a 15-mile radius of here. This includes Reigate, Redhill, Dorking, Horsham, Billingshurst, West Grinstead, East Grinstead and Haywards Heath. Of course, we are always happy to travel further afield, should you require it.

What is your payment procedure?

We accept payment via all standard methods, including cash, cheque, bank transfer and credit card. For ongoing property maintenance contracts, we can arrange a monthly payment schedule, payable via BACS bank transfer. Contact us to find out more about our payment arrangements and payment plans.

Are your staff qualified and appropriately registered?

All Slim Maintenance’s work is carried out by professional, vetted and fully insured staff. All workers involved in carrying out gas work are Gas Safe registered, and we are Safe Contractor Approved.

What is your attitude to health and safety?

Health and safety is a vital consideration in all our work. We aim to ensure the safest possible environment for our clients, the general public and our staff. To this end, we have comprehensive health and safety policies, and all our staff are highly trained in safe working procedures.

We are approved by the Safe Contractor industry scheme, demonstrating the high regard in which we hold health and safety. If you have any further questions about any aspects of our health and safety policies or procedures, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Do you clean up at the end of a job?

Of course. We treat every job as a complete piece of work in itself. We place a high priority on cleanliness and tidiness. This means we don’t leave a property until you’re happy with the standard of work. We ensure any damage is made good and any mess or dirt created by our work has been fully cleared up.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. We have product and public liability insurance up to £10 million.

Do you offer a call-out service for emergencies?

Yes. We know that issues which can arise in a property are often urgent, and can’t wait until the start of the next working day. This means you can contact us at any time of day or night for a swift and professional response.
